The firm serves the tax, accounting and financial needs of businesses and individuals to enable them to realize their financial goals and meet their changing needs. We tailor our services to the specific needs of our clients, understanding that no two small businesses are the same. We provide a wide range of services to better permit our clients to focus on meeting their goals. Alberto S. Cohen is a CPA licensed to practice in Texas with extensive experience in the industry. He has worked in public accounting since 1995 with prominent public accounting firms and as owner of his own company. However, the temptation to manage his own practice eventually evolved. Says Alberto, “I wanted the opportunity to work with clients the way I thought they should be served and set my own tone in the practice. Our philosophy is to promote our clients’ best interests by helping them grow their
companies and manage their personal finances with solid fiscal advice.”
Alberto has provided services to privately owned businesses in a wide range of industries, including professional services, technology, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, investments, construction, health care, service, auto dealers and retail. He has expertise practicing in the tax areas of corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, individuals, multi-state, trusts, gift tax and estates among others.

Graduated with honors from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.
Alberto was immediately offered and accepted a position at one of the national accounting firms where he started his career as a tax practitioner. He subsequently earned his masters in taxation from Northeastern University, again graduating with honors.
Alberto is a native of Venezuela. He has also spent several years living and studying in Israel. He then moved to Boston, where he married his wife Debi. Long-term success seems to follow Alberto. Married over 20 years, Alberto and his wife Debi enjoyed the New England culture, where they spent 16 years, before moving to Austin in search of warmer climate and a thriving dynamic community.
They have two children, Sydney and Sammy. Alberto is an avid soccer player and enjoys coaching his children’s soccer and volleyball teams. He is a motorcycle and car enthusiast and enjoys riding in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
He is also involved in the community through various organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of English at Work, a local non-profit that brings ESL classes into the workplace. He is a member of the Westlake Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He also is involved with the local chapter of the Anti-Defamation League and enjoys being involved with his synagogue, Agudas Achim.
